Alpha Version 1.0.16

Android 11 · iOS 16 Latest

Changes since the previous build (Android 10 / iOS 15).

This build changes the character itself: the roster is gone, classes arrive, and you now pick your own face. Your existing champion's stats did not change.

You have one champion now

The party of four is gone. The reason came from you: nobody could tell which champion did PvE, which did PvP and which ran Delve — the game never said, because it never assigned it.

Your main champion stayed, and the gear from the extra champions went back into your bag. No item was deleted. Their levels and the attribute points you spent on them are gone; there is no honest way around that — a level belongs to the champion who earned it.

Three players are over bag capacity because of this. Over capacity you cannot pick up new loot; selling a few items clears it. We chose to give the gear back rather than destroy it.

The idea of fielding more than one figure returns with the pet system, where each one's job will be clear.

Warrior and Mage

The twelve ready-made heroes (Tuna Moonsea, Borin Ironmark…) have retired. In their place, two classes: Warrior and Mage.

Your champion was assigned to one based on its stats. Your power did not change — all 1,047 champions were compared one by one before and after the assignment, and not a single point moved.

Class does not affect combat yet. That is deliberate: we are letting you pick it now so that the class is yours by the time the battle system lands on top of it.

You choose your face

A new player now builds their character first and picks a username after:

Look → Class → Username → 10 attribute points

What you can pick: 7 hairstyles, 4 brows, 7 beards, each in 5 colours — black, chestnut, dark blond, grey, brown. All three also offer "None": bald, browless and beardless are all valid.

A female character is not ready yet and its button is disabled. Skin tone is on the way too.

Every existing champion was given a random face — 656 different faces across 1,047 champions. If you do not like yours, go to the barber.

The Barber

A new button on the home screen (the scissors). Change your face whenever you like — free for now, priced later.

Ten attribute points to start

A new champion starts with 10 points, and the 5 points per level continue unchanged. This applied to everyone — your existing champion also received 10 extra points.

They are not lost if you skip spending them during setup; they wait for you under Inventory → Attributes.

Economy: two serious bugs closed

Selling an item could pay better than buying it. A tester reported buying an item for 34,860 gold and selling it for 58,100 — an infinite gold loop. The cause was structural rather than a tuning value: the buy and sell multipliers moved in opposite directions without knowing about each other. A sale price can now never exceed what that same player would pay for the same item.

The first fix punished subscribers — taking a subscription lowered your sale price. That is fixed too: a perk can no longer leave you worse off in any situation.

These fixes lowered the sale prices four players were seeing.

The guild screen got faster

Entering a guild showed 7–8 seconds of black screen. It had two separate causes.

Speed: guild power was being calculated twice, back to back — 1.24 seconds for 34 members. It is now a single pass, ~220 ms.

Visibility: the loading skeleton was drawn the whole time, but it differed from the card behind it by only 3%, so it was invisible. Its contrast was doubled.

Other fixes

  • The potion slot empties itself when its timer runs out. Dragging one in said "both slots are full" while tapping accepted it; that is fixed.
  • Shops see money you earned elsewhere. Selling in the inventory and returning to a shop said "you cannot afford this"; fixed in all four shops.
  • In the Turkish copy, "tonik" became "iksir", and the inventory warning now names an item that actually exists (there is no "Rün Ustası Keskisi"; it is the Taş Keskisi — the Runesmith's Chisel).
  • The Luck of the First Light gem is now spelled the way the rest of the game spells it.
  • The character name under the username in the friends list is gone.

What we would like you to look at

  1. Your champion's new face — home, inventory, profile and battle screens. Any combination that looks wrong?
  2. The barber — change your face, save, and see it change on the home screen.
  3. The "None" options — try a bald, browless, beardless character.
  4. Guild and friends list — does everyone show up with their own face?
  5. Bag capacity — three bags are over the limit; can you sell and make room?
  6. Attributes tab — do you have 10 extra points?
  7. The guild screen — does it still keep you waiting?
