Alpha Version 1.0.17

Android 12 · iOS 17 Latest

Changes since the previous build (Android 11 / iOS 16).

In this build the armour you wear is drawn on your champion, there is a new trousers slot, and the skill tree opens as a preview — and four of your reports are closed: the dungeon and territory wall, the +5 to +9 wall at the blacksmith, “reroll does nothing” at the alchemist, and selling potions in bulk.

Your armour is on you now

Helm, chest, trousers, boots and shield are drawn on your champion the moment you equip them: on the home screen, in the inventory, on your opponent in the arena, in battle scouting and in guild applications. A helm hides the hair, and the ears sit under it.

Gauntlets and weapons are not drawn yet; when they arrive they will show in the same place. The Valor armour has wings — go see them.

Special thanks to Ahmet Kayra Demiryürek for the armour on your champion.

Trousers slot

Trousers joined the left column (helm, chest, gauntlets, trousers, boots, mount). There are five plate trousers — Footman's Trousers, Riveted Leggings, Ironthread Greaves, Warden's Cuisses, Bulwark Cuisses — on the same armour ladder as boots. They drop in Witherwood and are sold by the Artificer and in Valor’s Boon.

In the previous build a dropped pair showed as a card with no name and no icon; that is fixed here.

A pet slot opened at the bottom of the right column; empty for now, it fills when the pet system lands.

Class labels

Every helm, chest piece, gauntlet, trousers and boot says “Plate · Warrior”; swords, axes, maces and shields say “Warrior”; staves say “Mage”. Rings, amulets and earrings are shared. The restriction is not enforced yet — a mage can still wear plate; it switches on when cloth gear arrives.

Skill tree (preview page)

A new button on the home screen: the skill book. The page it opens is a trial: nothing is saved and nothing affects combat. It exists so you can feel the layout on a phone.

  • It starts with your class’s core skills, then the tree splits in two: Berserker / Juggernaut for the Warrior, Fire / Frost for the Mage. Learning the first skill of one branch closes the other.
  • Each branch has two “pick one of two skills” forks, with passives in between.
  • Every skill has 5 ranks; the numbers in its description grow as you put points in.
  • 1 point every 5 levels. The switch at the top of the page flips between Warrior and Mage so you can look at both trees.
  • 50 skills, 50 icons; a skill with no points is grey.

Drag to move around, pinch to zoom. Which layout reads well, which skill makes no sense — that is what we want to hear.

Dungeon and territories got easier

Dungeon and territory bosses were still tuned for a party of four champions; with one champion they had become a wall (one tester could not beat a single territory boss).

  • Dungeon boss power is down 40%. The ladder keeps its shape; everyone can move on from the floor they are stuck on.
  • Territory bosses now scale to the dungeon floor you have cleared: the 1st, 2nd and 3rd boss are 1.10× / 1.30× / 1.50× that floor’s power. As you go deeper the territories grow with you; while you are small, they stay small.
  • The territory buff lasts 24 hours instead of 12.
  • When the buff ends, all three bosses respawn together (the “two bosses stayed dead” a tester saw was this).

Blacksmith: the wall from +5 to +9

Burning still starts at +5 and stays there; but the rates were pulled onto a single descent:

StrikeBeforeNow
+1 … +495 / 90 / 85 / 8098 / 96 / 94 / 92
+5 … +972 / 65 / 58 / 52 / 4690 / 87 / 84 / 81 / 78
+10 … +1540 / 35 / 30 / 26 / 22 / 1870 / 63 / 56 / 50 / 44 / 38
+16 … +2015 / 12 / 9 / 7 / 532 / 26 / 20 / 14 / 8

The chance of passing the four strikes from +6 to +9 without a charm went from 9% to 46%; past +10 is still charm country.

Cups reset with the PvP season

The “the same player is always first” problem. After season rewards are paid out, everyone’s cups reset; the first reset is Monday 00:05 (UTC). The season ranking counts only those who fought that week; whoever did not play is not on the board.

Valor items: same name, same numbers

A tester’s report: the “Path of the First Light” in their bag and the one in the Boon were the same level, yet the armour differed threefold. The cause: the valor name was one, but five different bases sat underneath it. Every family now has a single valor base (the strongest one), the Boon only sells from it, and the 24 valor items already in players’ hands were moved onto that base — a buff for every one of them, nobody loses. Upgrades and stones stay where they are.

Alchemist: “reroll does nothing”

It was true, and the cause was bigger than you guessed. The server had a dice leak: a battle preview parked the dice at a fixed point, and the next roll brought back the same result. It affected the Alchemist’s and the Artificer’s stock, drops, blacksmith odds and PvP matchmaking. Closed; every request now starts with fresh dice. The tester’s six free rerolls from that day were refunded.

Other fixes

  • Potions would not sell in bulk (“0 sold, 1 skipped”); fixed.
  • In Valor’s Boon with a full bag the button said “BUY” and did nothing; it now says “INVENTORY FULL” and is disabled.
  • The retired heroes’ portraits flashed for a moment in the guild list, the leaderboard, friends and the mail; everyone now wears their own face everywhere. Class selection shows a class icon instead of a face.
  • A new account could not spend its 10 attribute points; fixed.
  • The opponent’s second ring and earring were missing in battle scouting.
  • The top bar’s scrim was missing on the Battle → History and Market tabs.
  • The Artificer has new artwork.

What we would like you to look at

  1. Armour on your champion — do home and inventory match? Does it change right away when you equip and unequip a piece?
  2. Trousers — do they drop, do they equip, do they stay equipped after leaving and re-entering the inventory?
  3. Skill tree — does the layout read well? Which choice felt meaningless to you?
  4. Territories — can you get through now? Did all three bosses come back when the buff ended?
  5. Blacksmith — how did +5 to +9 feel?
  6. Alchemist reroll — does the stock change on every tap?
  7. Monday morning PvP — did the cups reset, is the ranking right?
