Alpha Version 1.0.18

Android 13 · iOS 18 Latest

Changes since the previous build (Android 12 / iOS 17).

In this build gauntlets and swords are drawn on your champion, the sword becomes the Warrior’s only weapon, and a bug in the combat engine is closed. The home screen buttons now carry their names.

The weapon, combat and Socketing Awl changes live on the server, so they already took effect in the previous build; these notes are the first time you are hearing about them.

Gauntlets and swords are on you now

The gauntlets and sword you equip are drawn on your champion: on the home screen, in the inventory, on your opponent in the arena, in battle scouting and in guild applications.

  • Your champion no longer has bare hands. With no gauntlets equipped they wear leather gloves; equipping a pair replaces them.
  • The sword sits in the hand, fingers wrapped around the grip.
  • Every gauntlet and sword matches its inventory icon.

The Warrior’s one weapon: the sword

Axes and maces are gone from the game. The Mage will have a single weapon, the staff; the Warrior gets a single weapon too, so nothing is left to second-guess.

  • Every axe and mace in your bag turned into the sword of the same tier. Its tier, item level, blacksmith upgrade, stones and affixes stay exactly as they were; if it was equipped, it stayed equipped. Nobody was handed a fresh weapon, nobody lost a +20.
  • Sword damage was raised to the old axe values: 56 / 81 / 106 / 138 / 169. If you had an axe you deal exactly what you did; if you had a mace or already a sword, you got a little stronger.
  • Weapon drop rates did not change.

Combat: the side with lower Dexterity no longer strikes twice

A tester’s report: most of their attributes were higher than an opponent’s, yet they kept losing to them. They were right. There was a bug in the number of strikes per turn: the side with lower Dexterity struck twice in almost every turn, while the side with higher Dexterity usually struck once.

Fixed. The side with higher Dexterity now always strikes at least as often as its opponent. This bug touched every fight; nobody’s position in the dungeon or the territories got harder, and a few slow bosses got a little easier.

The same tester’s second question: the penalties a mount’s abilities put on the opponent are counted in combat — we checked. They do not show in the arena or dungeon preview yet; they are applied in the fight itself.

The Socketing Awl now costs gold

10,000 gold, no valorstones. It used to be 4,000 gold and 25 valorstones; since the whole socket system hangs on this one tool, it can now be bought with gold alone.

Item cards

  • Rarity badges are gone; the item’s name is written in its rarity colour.
  • Set stones are coloured by rarity. The frame of the stone dot on the cell and the stone’s name on the detail card take the colour of the stone’s own rarity, not of the bonus it gives. Which stone is common and which is valor is visible at a glance.

Home screen

  • Every button has its name underneath.
  • The gap between the buttons is tighter.
  • In the Turkish copy, the Delve is now “Maden” everywhere — the button said “Derinlik” while everything else said “Delve”.

What we would like you to look at

  1. Gauntlets and sword — do they show on your champion when equipped? Do home and inventory match?
  2. Your old axe or mace — is it there as a sword, with its upgrade and stones intact?
  3. PvP — is higher Dexterity a real advantage now?
  4. Home screen labels — readable? Do they push anything out of place?
  5. Socketing Awl — can you buy it with gold?
  6. Rarity colours — are item names and stone dots readable?
