Alpha Version 1.0.19

Android 14 · iOS 19 Latest

Changes since the previous build (Android 13 / iOS 18).

In this build the home screen became a village, the female champion arrived, and the Mage wears their own gear: a robe, a staff, and a book in the hand that used to be empty. Gear your class cannot wear is painted red in the bag.

The Mage gear and the class rule live on the server, so they already took effect in the previous build; these notes are the first time you are hearing about them.

The home screen is a village now

Where the character scene used to be there is a village: the Lightforge, the Blacksmith, the Artisan, the Alchemist, the Breeder, the Delve, the Arena, the Guild Castle, the Barber, Valor’s Boon and the Quest Board.

  • Touch a building and its screen opens. Each building has its name underneath.
  • Pan with one finger, pinch with two, and it glides a little when you let go. The village never leaves the screen; above and below it is forest.
  • Chimneys smoke, forges burn, and villagers walk the roads and step into buildings.
  • The buttons on the left and right and the character frame at the top stay where they are for now; the layout changes in the next build.

The female champion

Character creation and the barber now offer Woman. She has her own hair (seven cuts, five colours) and brows, and the whole plate set is drawn on her; there is no beard tab for her. Changing body at the barber starts you on that body’s default face.

Special thanks to Ahmet Kayra Demiryürek for the female champion — a great deal of work went into it.

The Mage wears their own gear

The rule: a Warrior cannot wear Mage gear, and a Mage cannot wear Warrior gear.

  • The cloth set — circlet, robe, gloves, trousers, boots — and the staff have arrived. Every piece is the exact counterpart of the plate piece (or the sword) of the same tier: the same armour or damage, the same growth, the same drop level.
  • Warrior pieces in a Mage’s bag turned into their cloth counterparts; tier, level, blacksmith upgrade, stones and affixes stay exactly as they were. Shields came off the arm and into the bag — a Mage has no shield.
  • A book in the free hand: the tome is the Mage’s answer to the shield. With no tome equipped, a faded book shows in the slot.
  • Cloth, staff and tome are drawn on your champion; the home screen, the inventory, the arena, battle scouting and guild applications all match.
  • Gear you cannot wear is red. In the bag, on loot cards and on the make-room page, a piece that is not for your class has a red frame; dragging it will not equip it, and its card offers only SELL. The world still drops whatever it drops — a Warrior can find a robe and sell it. The shops and Valor’s Boon only sell what you can wear.

Small fixes

  • All four wings of the valor plate chest sit behind the champion.
  • The card of your arena opponent, your battle enemy and a guild applicant says which class they are.

What we would like you to look at

  1. The village — are panning and zooming smooth? Are the buildings sharp or blurry? Which phone, at which zoom? A screenshot helps us a lot.
  2. Touching buildings — does each one open the right screen? Any that does not?
  3. Villagers — do they show fully, do they get stuck anywhere?
  4. The female champion — are hair, brows and the armour you equip right on her?
  5. Mages — are your old pieces there as cloth, does the tome equip?
  6. Red items — do they really block equipping, and can you sell them?
